45 second microwave cake???

Well, the pictures are out of order but oh well! Here's the birthday girl, Barb, enjoying her microwave cake! "It's GOOD!"

Yes, it actually cooked in 40 seconds!!!

Larisa and Barb making the cakes!

Mini-microwave cakes! And cornbread muffins with sparkly, relighting candles!

Yes, indeedy, only in the U.S.A. can you get this kind of quick food!

Only in America could you find something like this....I saw these when I was in the U.S. at Christmas time....they are mini cakes that you add water to the mix and pop in the microwave for 30-45 seconds and they are cooked. "Fresh" cake! Well, my friends Barb (who turned 35 yesterday) and Larisa and I all laughed as we made these mini cakes for her birthday! Then the laughter increased as the candles I put on her cake began to spark, and we soon realized they are those re-lighting ones...I seriously did NOT know beforehand...and they even relit in the kitchen sink!

Then of course we ate the cake, and popcorn and cornbread muffins and watched our FAVORITE film together, "Miss Congeniality", and as each scene started, one of us would say, "Oh, this scene is great!" and so we were laughing all evening!

What a blessed and wonderful way to spend an evening, with GOOD friends, laughing and celebrating life!
