This news is worthy of your reading:
HUNGARIAN GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS CALLS FOR LIST OF JEWS: A Hungarian far-right deputy's suggestion to compile a list of residents "of Jewish origin" sparked an outcry on Tuesday in Hungary, which has seen a series of antisemitic incidents in recent months. "The Hungarian government condemns in the strongest possible terms remarks made by far-right party Jobbik's Marton Gyongyosi in parliament," the government said in a statement. "The government is opposed to all forms or expressions of extremism, racist or antisemitic, and does everything in its power to combat it." On Monday, Gyongyosi suggested drawing up a list of those who might pose a "security risk" for Hungary, citing Israel's recent conflict with the Hamas-run Gaza Strip. (INN) Pray this blatantly antisemitic suggestion, calling for a list of residents “of Jewish origin” in Hungary, will not rear its ugly head again. Such proposals are frightfully reminiscent of the Nazi era.
Christian Educators Outreach (CEO) is people who are broken vessels, filled with the Holy Spirit, to be used for His glory world-wide! I am one woman, married to a wonderful man, and sometimes I have some worthwhile thoughts about God, life, etc. which I like to post here. Enjoy!

Growing Spiritual Hunger in Hungary
Even though God called me to leave Hungary two years ago, God continues to do His mighty work there...ha...like He needs me there...ha ha ha....that sounds funny; He certainly doesn't need us, but in His great design of redemption and restoration, He chooses to use people.
A few days ago, I came across this magazine article which gives an update on what is happening in Hungary, and needless to say, I am rejoicing in all that God is doing! Please continue to pray that the Lord will fan into flame His Truth in that nation! Click on the title to this blog to get to the article, or cut and paste the link below into your browser.

Human Trafficking
http://index.hu/bulvar/2011/03/21/elkabitott_csecsemoket_akartak_atcsempeszni/
I lead a sideroom here at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, and on Wednesdays, we pray for the ending of human traffiking in eastern europe. The article above is in Hungarian, but the gist of it is this: two French citizens were stopped at the border of Ukraine and Hungary and were discovered to have stolen two newborn babies and drugged them.
For weeks now, as we have sought the Lord as to how to pray for eastern europe, He highlights: borders, border guards, truckers, cars, busses....transporting people across borders. Each time I go in the side room, I wonder why the Lord continues to keep us on this particular topic, and this is a small testimony as to why.
My prayer for this French couple is that they would encounter the love of God in their hearts, for them and for these babies, and they would come to know Jesus! I pray that God continues to open the eyes of border guards...that has been a prayer focus...that more people would be rescued!
I rejoice today and give glory to the God of the universe, who has His eye on two little newborns in eastern europe and He came to their rescue! What a great and mighty God we serve!

Christmas Letter
Merry Christmas and Ministry Update!
Here is wishing you an amazing Christmas season, filled with the JOY that only Jesus can give!
Quick ministry update: In November, I travelled to Hungary and Romania for both a friendly visit and a ministry trip! It was fabulous to see so many good friends, eat a lot of great food and be able to give away a slew of copies of my book, Walking Forward - Discoveries in Freedom and Forgiveness to many non-believers as well as believers! Pray that the Lord uses it to draw many to Himself! I also gave away copies of a wonderful tool called Adoration Prayer Book put out by Deeper Waters Ministry here in Kansas City. Again, please ask the Lord to bless this profound but simple tool! (Let me know if you would like to get a copy of either of these books!)
Some significant highlights of that trip include:
Ministering in four different venues through teaching the Word of God, receiving and giving prophetic words of love, encouragement and comfort, and praying with and for people. I am so thankful for all the open doors the Lord provided for ministry. One very significant story I want to share: My dear brother in the Lord, Bela, transformed some of his crop-land into a Christian ministry "tent" that will hold about 200 people very easily for gatherings! I asked Bela how the "sacrifice" of his crop-land space had impacted the amount he harvested this year, and his response is such an incredible testimony to the Lord's faithfulness: "I got MORE from 80 plants than my neighbors got from 200 plants!" Hallelujah!
Meeting with, laughing with, encouraging and praying for my former 30-somethings gals, Eszter, Gabi and Anita! I was blessed to see Anita's newest baby, a girl, Petra, as well!
Enjoying one-on-one and group gatherings with old friends and colleagues.
Being able to "introduce" my Hungarian "family" to my now fiance, Paul Czaszewicz (pronounced Chazwick) via a video Paul and I recorded before I left for Hungary!
All I can say is THANK YOU for your continued prayers and partnership with me in ministry! I look forward to our continued partnership in 2011, as the Lord is already opening doors for possible ministry opportunities:
Potential trip to minister with a team going to Mexico in February.
Potential trip to minister with a team going to Texas in March.
Please keep these in prayer as well as all the planning for my wedding, which will take place either April 30 or May 1.

From Hungary with love!
Full days and nights are keeping me on the run here in Hungary for this very short visit. I'm having a blast reconnecting with people, realizing I've lost very little of my Hungarian (which motivates me to keep it fresh!), and I look forward to the next visit, whenever the Lord opens that door!
Thus far, since arriving in europe, I have travelled by train, car, bike, trolley, and on foot. Ya gotta love europeans. I've met over 50 "old" friends and met a slew of new friends, and have enjoyed some very typical Hungarian dishes!
God is so good to bless me in this way...and I still have 3 full days ahead of me!

Visiting Hungary in November!
The past 24 hours have been wonderful! I've been praying for a while about a return visit to Hungary to visit friends, ministries, etc., and finally, having found an EXCELLENT ticket price for November, booked a ticket! Whoo hooo! Not only will I be in Hungary, but my dear friend and missionary there is organizing a ministry trip into Romania...so, this will be a VERY productive trip! Thank you Lord for Your provision!
More importantly, I've heard from a number of Hungarian friends...and ALL of them are THRILLED about my coming! I don't think I've felt THIS MUCH LOVE in a while. Oh, I know I'm loved, but this is almost overwhelming the responses I'm receiving from friends there. One friend, who reads my blog...hee hee hee...said I'm arriving on her birthday and I am the best birthday present she could ask for! This is humbling to me beyond words!
Another friend on facebook reminded me today that it is 107 days til I get there! HA HA HA! I had to laugh out loud about that one!
So, while my identity and "success" is based 100% in simply being a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, having people love you is a sweet icing on the cake of life!
Oh, by the way, I spent 45 minutes on a skype call today to my former neighbor in Hungary who speaks no English and practiced Hungarian...so far, I still got it, although slipping a bit!

Yet more springtime pix

I was being my bold self today. Yesterday, I took pictures in all these places and then accidentally deleted them...so today, I returned to these parts of the city to retake pictures.
In the main city square, where city hall is located, one is not supposed to walk on the grass...well, I did. I walked with confidence, pretending I was a professional photographer on a very important assignment...hee hee hee....and I was able to snap some fun pictures. These are just a smattering. Enjoy spring with us here in Szeged, Hungary!
