Yummy garden veggies....my first carrot, first cucumber, beans, lettuce and basil! I have about 100 tomatoes on the vine which are currently green...and peppers and pumpkins starting to blossom! Onions are about ready too! This is exciting!
Christian Educators Outreach (CEO) is people who are broken vessels, filled with the Holy Spirit, to be used for His glory world-wide! I am one woman, married to a wonderful man, and sometimes I have some worthwhile thoughts about God, life, etc. which I like to post here. Enjoy!

Ministry trip to Heath, TX
Les, his sister Judy and me at a Freedom Festival put on by a local church. Much of the money raised goes toward missions trips which go out around the world! These precious new friends are of Hungarian descent, so of course our hearts connected immediately! :-)
This is the wonderful home where we met. Marisol and Roberto Lopez opened their home for the weekend to the teams going to Mexico and Nicaragua...and us!
These are my precious friends, Jennifer, Teresa and Selenia, mighty women of God who gave selflessly to these saints in Heath, Texas, bringing teaching on inner healing and powerful prophetic ministry!

Ministry trip to Texas!
I was privileged to be invited to join some IHOP women on a ministry trip this past weekend to Heath, TX. In the next few blogs I will be recounting some of the amazing ways that God glorified Himself!
We as a team were welcomed with open arms of such warm hospitality that we were quite literally overwhelmed by the love and generosity of our hosts! We ate more in 4 days than in a typical 2 weeks, and stayed in incredible accomodations!
Here are a couple of highlights with more to come!
Me with Gloria Horvath, a precious woman of God!
Julia, Gloria and Les (Laszlo) Horvath! This precious Hungarian man has suffered tremendously with arthritis in his knees which has kept him from being able to stand for more than two minutes without pain. I felt compelled to ask him to pray for me, and then I began to pray for him...and as he released long-held resentment and anger toward people close to him, the Lord HEALED his knees!!! Sunday morning, he stood in worship without pain for 1 1/2 hours!!! Glory to God for His amazing healing in both Les' heart and knees!

Landscaping is finished! (For now)
Today was a HUGE day! After yet one more trip to Lowe's, then a trip to Mulch Mart, I was hitting it hard today, determined to finish this landscaping project! Yes, it is finished, and I have mulch to spare! I am WIPED out, though, having spent 6.5 hours working straight, and realizing about 5 hours into it that I'd not eaten anything but a fruit smoothie all day! It feels soooo good to be finished! Now for a couple of days of "rest" before heading to Arizona to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!
The finished product!
The finished product!
Left-over mulch!
Outside the basement egress window! Much nicer than the weeds!
Along the walkway on the side of the house!
I discovered that under this 'stretch' of ground there is something...an old sewer or water tank...anyway, sadly, I cannot plant anything between the rose here and the bush at the other end. The mulch looks good, though!
I'll be excited when the grass grows back around the edges!
Small but beautiful!
Ok, funny thing happened today...I awakened and remembered a prophetic word a friend here had back in November for me. She said, "Arden, I've never gotten this from God before, but He says you are a knock-out!" I laughed. Well, I'd forgotten about that, and the friend who helped me with the landscaping said, "Arden, you need to get knock-out roses...they are easy and beautiful! They are really knock-outs!" It was not until THIS MORNING that the Lord reminded me of the word and lo and behold, I have knock-out roses in my yard! HA HA HA!

Goodbye David and Barbara
Barbara and David with my precious friend, Michelle!
David and Barbara are a precious couple who came to Kansas City and opened up a pottery shop called The Potter's Hand. This mom and pop in the Spirit gave and gave and gave to this community in very significant ways! They will be sorely missed as they head back to Florida for the next season of their lives!

Thought from Watchman Nee
"When God opens our eyes that we may know the intent of our heart and the deepest thought within us in the measure that He Himself knows us---this is revelation. As we are naked and laid bare before Him, so are we before ourselves as we receive revelation. This is revelation: for us to be allowed to see what our Lord sees."

Borrowed from another friend's blog
I found this on a friend's blog....fun!
Buying: landscaping items.
Considering: all the possibilities presented to me for this next season.
Cooking: when I have time...mostly grilling.
Eating: fruit smoothie.
Googleing: organic ways to control weeds and kill bugs.
Learning: God loves to deliver us from ourselves!
Listening: to "The Prophetic Voice of an Eagle" by Jill Austin.
Loving: My wonderful friends!
Planning: What to plant in my newly dug up front yard!
Reading: Lion of War.
Watching: Nothing
Wearing: purple tank top, light green trousers.
Wishing: things were different with a couple of people in my life.
Thankful: For every moment of God's grace every day!
Writing: Two books.
Hoping: Next weekend will be blessed beyond words as my whole family will be together!
